I really roughed up the surface on this one and included dripping paint, spray paint splatter and plenty of scuff marks. Since I'm from Cleveland, OH this would be like the rust belt version of the flag.
The American flag has been done thousands of times by countless artists so I figured why not explore my own version. As a symbol, it can mean many things to different people. I'm not an overly political person, but doing the flag in my style got me thinking about what the flag means to me and what it means growing up in the USA.
